Adega de Borba presents the new image of the Galitos Brand, Alentejo Regional Wine Brand with an unbeatable price/quality ratio.
This new image maintains its representation in bottle and bag-in-box format, available on the market from this month of March, demonstrating a dynamic and innovative positioning, without breaking with the roots of Tradition and Quality that the Brand has.
The reformulation of the Galitos image aimed to modernize and renew the Brand, making it more differentiating in its segment, not forgetting the traditional Portuguese values. The use of strong colors was fundamental, as was the preservation of the iconic figure that so distinguishes this Brand: the Rooster.
Giving a guarantee of continuity and consistency to the brand, this Alentejo Regional Wine from Adega de Borba continues to be available in 0.75L and 1L bottles, and 3L and 5L bag-in-boxes of red, white and rosé wine.
Galitos Red, produced with grapes selected in the vast clay-limestone and schist plains of Borba, from the Castelão, Trincadeira and Aragonez varieties. This red reveals a defined ruby color and an aroma of young wine and ripe fruit. The taste is fruity with pleasant notes of strawberry and raspberry, with softness and pleasant finish on the palate. It should be eaten young, with pork meat (fried, roasted or grilled) and grilled sardines.
Galitos White, a white wine that results from the combination of the Roupeiro, Rabo de Ovelha and Arinto grape varieties, which will not leave anyone indifferent this spring season. This wine has a citrus color with a greenish nuance, holding an aroma of tropical fruits and nuts. The flavor is soft, balanced, of ripe tropical fruit with a persistent and lasting freshness. A wine to be served with fish, seafood and white meats.
Galitos Rosé, already with grapes from the 2021 vintage, is produced from Castelão, Aragonez and Trincadeira grape varieties. A young and fresh wine was born, with a salmon color and rosy nuance, with an aroma with good intensity of wild fruits. Its flavor is balanced, young and of excellent freshness and fruity persistence. It is a great accompaniment to salads, pizzas, seafood and grilled white meats, being also an excellent aperitif.
