Adega de Borba presents new Senses Verdelho 2018

Adega de Borba presents the new Senses Verdelho 2018, produced from the Verdelho variety, one of the most recent in the Alentejo varieties. This wine complements the range of monovarietals at Adega de Borba, already composed by Senses Touriga Nacional, Senses Syrah, Senses Petit Verdot and also by the white Senses Alvarinho and Senses Viognier.

For Óscar Gato, Winemaker at Adega de Borba, “The Verdelho variety in the Borba sub-region has a good aromatic-taste balance of tropical and citrus fruits, descriptors that we can appreciate in this monovarietal wine, however, the variety harmonizes very well with other regional grape varieties, adding more complexity to blended wines. ”

The wine has a lemon color, with an aroma of tropical fruits and a light floral. It has a fresh, fruity flavor, persisting with a slight luscious citrus. It is a great accompaniment to seafood and fresh fish on the grill. This wine aged for 3 months in the bottle for sensory tuning.

Senses is the brand of the Adega de Borba range of monovarietals.
