Adega de Borba unveils its new brand image

This February the new image for the winery Adega de Borba will be introduced to the public. The redesign of the brand came with an investment of half a million euros and includes all the corporate communication and look of all brands on the market from Adega de Borba.

The new brand will be applied to different media, such as letterhead, signage, brochures, packaging, website and advertising.

The new logo will be visible on more than 15 million bottles of Adega de Borba wines of all ranges.

With this update of the logo and the lettering, the Adega de Borba aims to give more visibility and recognition to the brand, demonstrating its innovative and dynamic position without losing the roots of tradition and quality that the brand has been know for since 1955. It is also intended to increase the impact of the packaging and all communications under the brand umbrella across all products of the company. The brand now becomes more flexible, easier to use and recognize in all of the different media of communication.

The company took advantage of this restyling to change the name, remove the designation COOP (cooperative) giving greater visibility to the name of Adega Borba, which also reflects the strategic focus and growth objectives in international markets, where the name “COOP” is not always a competitive advantage.

MyBrand did the creative process – and the firm reshaped the corporate brand of the Adega de Borba in order to modernize and renew the brand without losing the heritage of quality that characterizes the entire universe of the brand.

Manuel Rocha, CEO of Adega de Borba says, “The new brand image really gives us more flexibility and modernity without forgetting the roots of tradition and quality. It’s a new image and the same great Adega de Borba. And it’s just ‘the first stone’ in our strategy for the medium / long term as we seize and create opportunities both in both the domestic and the international market.
