Adega de Borba’s Premium Liqueur Wine has an elegant and sophisticated image

This week Adega de Borba is launching the brand new Adega de Borba Premium Liqueur Wine, the first liqueur wine in this range, with an exceptionally sophisticated image in a 750 ml bottle. “Adega de Borba Premium Liqueur Wine is now launched in a clean and elegant bottle which reflects the product’s own characteristics: a premium liqueur wine which has an outstanding quality, made from the best grapes of the Aragonês variety, one of the most important red grapes in the region of Borba”, states Manuel Rocha, Adega de Borba’s CEO. This liqueur wine has a clear appearance, an ambar colour with red nuances. The flavour is elegant, fresh and balanced with hints of red fruits jelly that linger in a long and persistent aftertaste. This wine was produced from the best grapes in the vineyard, in a perfect maturation state. It presents itselft as a different product with an outstanding quality. Óscar Gato, head of oenology, refers that “during the fermentation process and by achieving a good balance between alcohol and sugar levels, the must was removed and arrested by the addition of wine spirit especially selected for the purpose. It then aged for 3 years in French oak barrels and 2 more years in exotic wood tanks, thus originating a different product with an excellent quality”. It aged for about 6 months in the cellar after being bottled. This liqueur wine is to be served at 16 ºC, as an aperitif, before the meal, to accompany a dessert; or as a digestif, after the meal. It has an alcohol content of 18% and it can be consumed immediately after bottling or age for several years in the cellar. Recommended retail price for Adega de Borba Premium Liqueur is 9.99 €.
