There is a red wine suggested by wine lovers to accompany meat dishes, cod and semi-hard cheeses: Montes Claros Reserva Red 2010. This wine will make wonders on any table to celebrate the festivities that are getting closer, formally dressed in a red and golden gift package.
Montes Claros Reserva 2010 is produced from selected Aragonez, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Touriga Nacional and Trincadeira grapes. Its aroma is rich and full-bodied, with aromas of jam, jelly and cocoa. The flavour is soft and full-bodied which makes this wine ideal to accompany complex dishes that bring out the flavours of black ripened fruits.
A sophisticated presentation launched especially for the festivities, a wine of national and international recognition; Montes Claros Reserva 2010 was awarded medals throughout the years: gold medals in Mundus Vini, Germany 2011, a silver medal in the Selections Mondiales des Vins, Canada 2011, a bronze medal in the International Wine and Spirits Competition 2011 and a distinction in the Decanter World Wine Awards 2011.
According to Márcia Farinha, Adega de Borba’s Marketing Manager, “it is with great pleasure that we see Montes Claros Reserva 2010, a wine with medals won in international competitions, being a part of the Christmas celebrations of the Portuguese. To celebrate this year’s Christmas, we have prepared a special packaging not only to exalt the character of this excellent wine, but also to satisfy our clients’ requests in terms of Christmas gifts.”
