Imagem_Adega_de_Borba_Rose_PaginaHot summer days allow us for sure to relax. Of course we cannot always be at the beach or enjoying the countryside, but that is no reason to not celebrate the nice weather with a glass of white or rosé from Adega de Borba.

Hot weather always screams for light and fresh meals and so the wines we will mostly enjoy should be fresh as well. Adega de Borba suggests three wines and some ideas of combinations for each.

At a bar near the beach or by the pool, Adega de Borba White is the perfect choice, even without any side dishes. But it will also pair well with a nice gazpacho, boiled prawns, Bulhão Pato clams (Portuguese style) or even a chicken toast. And why not a nice lemon mousse?!

Equally fresh and seducing Adega de Borba Rosé 2012 is also a brilliant choice for the evenings. Not only does this wine pair well with the beach, but it will also work wonders at an outdoor café with a nice view over the city.

Adega de Borba Rosé is an extremely seductive wine both in terms of aroma and flavour, a must for every couple! The vast Portuguese coast is rich in quality fish which pairs really well with this rosé. Conversations are like cherries; a bowl of this fruit in the hot evenings will surely cry for a glass of this fresh rosé. And for the sweet tooth, how about a nice strawberry or wild fruits pie?

Montes Claros Colheita White 2011 is recommended for the more substantial summer meals. A nice Alentejo wine that will pair well with a traditional dish from the region: shark soup or caldeirada (mix of various types of fish with potatoes).

A nice Arroz à Velenciana (rice with seafood and meat), a pizza with ham and figs, a chicken salad, these are all the perfect dishes to accompany Montes Claros Colheita White.

Whatever the moment, there’s always a nice wine from Adega de Borba to help you enjoy your moment the perfect way. During the holidays the weather will be more enjoyable in the company of our wonderful wines.
