Adega de Borba presents the new harvest of Adega de Borba Premium White, a wine that integrates the Adega de Borba range with designation of Premium quality.
Result of the 2019 harvest, this exceptional quality white wine, very balanced, will delight the most demanding connoisseurs of Adega de Borba. The new harvest results from an extremely rigorous production process, making it white at the best level that a Adega de Borba Premium can be.
Adega de Borba Premium Branco 2019 is a DOC Alentejo wine from the Borba sub-region, produced from the Arinto, Antão Vaz, Verdelho and Alvarinho varieties, selected in vineyard plots in an integrated production system. Vineyards of the partners of Adega de Borba that contribute so much to the environmental sustainability of the Alentejo region. It presents a citrus color, a young and intense aroma with notes of citrus fruits and orange blossom. Its flavor is very fresh, unctuous, with harmony between acidity, minerality and persistent tropical fruits.
The grapes were harvested manually during the night, allowing a good temperature of the fruit. At the cellar, after destemming and crushing the grape, the wort is depleted and pressed. The tear must (must that drains without pressing) clarifies for 18 to 24 hours and ferment at a constant temperature of 18ºC, over 14 days.
