Adega de Borba presents the new Aguardente Vínica Velhíssima 1976, produced from white wine from the 70s for the most demanding connoisseurs. With an intense aroma, its flavor is very soft, with a considerable unctuous texture to enjoy in special moments.

Adega de Borba was celebrating 21 years of existence and in the Alentejo vineyards in the Borba area, grapes from the Roupeiro and Rabo de Ovelha varieties were harvested, which would produce white wine using the region’s traditional fermentation technique. This is how the story of this new Aguardente from Adega de Borba begins, the new ex-libris that Adega de Borba is proud to present.

The distillation of the wine was carried out in a still in a slow and careful way, with improved selection. The result was a golden amber to topaz color and an intense, but gently spicy aroma of very ripe yellow fruits and dried fruits. The flavor is smooth and soft, round in texture revealing notes of fruit jelly, with candied fruits in harmony and elegance, with a slight acidity and dried fruits that persist for a long time.
Ideal to serve as a digestive at the end of a meal, after coffee and with dark chocolate, to accompany the tasting and aromatic pleasure of a good cigar.
